It is our mission to show how blockchain technology can be used to facilitate a decentralized community of people that want to help raise funds to help address global issues.

NFTs For Charity Cycle

  • New NFT Set –  50 unique NFTs are created and minted on the block chain
  • NFT Auction – The NFTs are auctioned off on OpenSea marketplace for anyone to purchase
  • Funds to Charity – A smart contract automatically sends the profits from auction to the selected charities crypto wallet
  • NFT Ownership – Once you have purchased and NFT you have full ownership of your NFT
  • Charity Vote – Current NFT For Charity holders will be able to connect to vote for the charity that will be supported in the next NFT set release

FAQs

NFTs are an example of smart contracts that have important web3 properties including ownership validation, transparency, and security. These properties allow for the creation of a fundraising community where members don’t have to worry about the mismanagement of funds because all transactions happen automatically according to the smart contract.

Only current Charity NFTs holders are able to vote for the charity they want to be supported in the next NFT release. Holders can vote by going to the Vote page on the Charity NFTs website.

The Charity NFT release cycle is tentatively planned for a new set of NFTs released monthly. However, this is timeline is subject to community feedback.

A NFT from any NFTs for Charity set can be used to vote for the charity supported in all subsequent NFT set releases.

The voting window is open for the first three weeks of the month. You can change your vote as many times as you want in this time window. Once the next set is release you will have to place another vote for the following release. 

NFTs for Charity are sold and traded on the popular marketplace OpenSea. If you want to cash out on your investment you can list your NFT on OpenSea. When the NFT is sold the ETH will automatically be send to your crypto wallet.
